JUANPOOL

Juan is a woke VidTuber that regularly covers the ins, outs, and exploits of the superheroes and villains of the world. During a livestream he accidentally deadnames Badger Bitch and causes a mass outrage that leaves him cancelled and completely un-personed from society. After an unexpected trip into some other plane of existence he gains powers of his own and sets out to uncover the truth about what really happened to Badger Babe.

ROBBIE WHITMAN

Juan’s current boyfriend Robbie was born into an incredibly privileged life. He grew up having everything a spoiled child could ask for and excelled at almost everything he tried. Despite all of his accomplishments the only thing he ever wanted and could never have is his father’s love and attention.

RADICAL NEMESIST

Gretchen Doyle was born with a rare congenital disorder that leaves her with full control over her brain functions. She must constantly actively run her own internal bodily functions. Dubbed “The world’s smartest girl” she has become a blogger by day and infamous hacker by night.

BADGER BABE

An Uber-Sapien with Badger like qualities. She has increased strength, stamina, agility, and teeth that can crush stone. She is the patron hero of Cittitonville and personal hero to Juan.

STRAIGHT ARROW

The seemingly immortal guardian of Major City since 1939. When the law fails to bring justice Straight arrow is there to make things right. Every generation his gear, tactics and ferocity improve. The criminal element of the city truly fear him, but recently he has gone missing leaving a void that has everyone asking: “Where is Straight Arrow?”

WHITE SAVIOR

An incredibly powerful Uber-sapien with flight, super strength, and golden energy projection, she is brave, empathetic and truly loves the citizens of Major City.

CARLOS QUINTANILLA

Juan’s twin brother. Carlos is one tough Hombre and one that never fully agreed with or understood Juan’s life choices. But he’s family.

CANADA CHAVEZ

A Dystopian from another dimension. She is a selfish, stubborn, and rude person banished to E121 where the atmosphere grants her godlike powers of portal creation, energy manipulation, and flight. She’s also a hero that has a personal history with Juan.

THE ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT NEW NEWBIE WARRIORS GO!

The newest and most progressive young super team ever formed in the Juanpool universe. Made up of(from Front to back) The Appropriator, Super Enby, Fat Acceptance, Echo Chamber, and Hub Box. Look forward to their introduction in Issue 3, designed by Juanpool fans for a 2020 art contest.

CAPTAIN SUPREMACY

Mentioned in Juanpool issue 1 as a hero potentially retiring from the job. He has yet to be seen in the comics and not much is yet known publicly about him. Not even what he looks like. Who is Captain Supremacy?

BADGER BITCH

The proposed doppelganger that has taken Badger Babe’s place. She claims to be a hero and is celebrated as such by the residents of Cittitonville but her methods are brutal with a hyper-progressive bent to them that wreak destruction everywhere she goes.

MARIAH SUZANA GUTIERREZ

A fellow employee of Robbie’s at IYF News. She is a mysterious woman with ever increasing designs on powerful positions.

THE PLAGIARIZER

A villain mentioned by Juan in issue 1 as a potential villain behind the sudden change in Badger Bitch. He has yet to appear in Juanpool,

Juan Quintanilla, a popular hero blogger, Mistakenly causes an unprecedented mass outrage when he mistakenly dead names a prolific local super heroine Badger Bitch. He soon finds himself completely un-personed and determined to get to the bottom of the sudden change in his favourite Uber-Sapien. To top it all off; he now seems to be developing powers of his own.

ISSUE 2

PREVIEW

Following Juan’s legal “un-personing” he heads home to regain his bearings and test his newfound abilities that he has received. Robbie meanwhile is suffering his own consequences in his cut-throat field of broadcast journalism. While they both regroup, Badger Bitch continues to dole out her unique brand of justice throughout the city.
